On my real STE (4MB, TOS2.06) the second game works fine, but when I press '1' from the BBC menu (Beebris?) the game depacks, prompts me to hit space, but after that I get four bombs!

I've noticed that whilst de-packing this game the packer seems to count down, then up for a bit, then down again...

Try this set up on a real STE or via STEEM and see if you get the same result.

Just thought you should know...

Tried it on Steem with TOS 1.02, 1.62 and 2.06 - no problems at all.

So, I have 3 options, listed here in order of stupidity:

1) Say "It works for me, you must have a corrupted TOS" (sound familiar? :P)

or

2) UPS me your STe and paypal me some cash to return it after i've fixed the game :P (hehehehe)

or

3) What do you have in your startup AUTO folder?  my tests are with a basic HDDriver and 4mb, no accs, buffers set to "999" (ie, disabled)

Ah - you're right - it's my auto folder causing the problem.

FMCII Clock driver, Sonnyboy's Deskconf, Y2K fix, no-click.

Doesn't want to work with that lot in RAM.

Oh well, I guess I'll stick to running it from floppy..!

(PS - Phew - Thank fuck I don't have a 'corrupted' TOS ;))

For anyone who uses HHDriver and having similar problems, please note that resetting your atari and holding down the CONTROL key bypasses your auto folder programs.

Doing so makes this release run perfectly! :)
