Well I've just updated my trainer with unlimited fireballs, so if anyone downloaded the version that George put up (for one hour or so) then you have a *very* rare version!!

Thanks for patching this one! It is a great little game with a high playability.

I think there is also a similar one with purple wizards. I remember playing that on the Amiga of a friend. Was that a sequel? I vaguely remember there is a ST version aswell but I don't remember that name right now.

Isn't the game that Simon is talking about "Spherical"?

(Oh, Good work on the patch by the way, When I can get a little time away from work I will finish those mini-reviews too.)

Yes, "Spherical" it was. Thank for the reminder!  Smiley

See http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st-spherical_24962.html and the ingame shot:

The question still would be if this game is an official sequel to "Solomon's Key"?

I don't think so, I get the feeling that Solomon's Key was an arcade machine, Spherical wasn't. I get the feeling that they were by different companies anyway, I'll look into it later.

Solomon's was U.S. Gold, Spherical was Rainbow Arts. I'm thinking it's a very close "Game based on...." rather than a sequel. Smiley

Hah, That'll teach me to assume. It was on Auto150 then, (I think.) (It's the one with Starwars and Paperboy on, also.)

Yes indeed. I remember being surprised that this D-Bug release was not the purple wizard one. I wasn't aware about a title's reuse for different games.

Actually a few years ago I was looking for that particular spherical (and not the purple wizard one), only to have people point me to the purple wizard one!

(I was curious, I've seen the demo level from st format and wanted to see if they sped it up in the final. Guess I had high hopes of that Tongue)
