Barbarian II

Not just a game that remains in my mind, but a menu that remains too.  This was one of the many Automation menus that was in my collection when I bought my ST second hand.

Here we have a great game.  Anyone who played the original Barbarian would have no doubt liked it but found it monotonous after a while.  Here with the variety of creatures at Drax's call makes the game more interesting.  Graphics are great, and the digi speech is out of this world - anyone at the time who didn't say WTF at the "welcome to the dungeon of Drax, choose your warrior" speech is surely deaf or lying!  This of course is in addition to the "aaaarghs" etc in game.

The addition of monsters over the human opponents of the prequel adds something more to this, as each has their own attacks and the way you approach them is different.  And that's before entering the dungeons themselves.

Overall a great game, with great features, graphics and sound.  Load that menu now and enjoy!!!!
