Masters of the Universe

A game just as bad as the film... No scratch that, a game worse than the film and that takes some doing!

terrible speech, terrible music and graphics that are uninspiring and small - if you going to do a gauntlet-like first level at least, then make the graphics more chunky and the enemies slightly more intelligent.

Basically a waste of a license (and money at the time)

It's actually interesting that this game is different on platforms.

I played the ZX Spectrum version (sorry George xD) and there it is a side viewed action game instead of Gauntlet-like.

Have there been multiple versions of the same license?

Simon there were two versions on the Speccy - one by Gremlin (as here) and one by US Gold - two totally different games, the former being the only one based on the movie (also a text based adventure game from memory too).  Check WOS for them

So the sideview game is not available on the ST?
It didn't felt totally bad on the Spectrum (which is quite a feat for itself ^^)

I'm fairly sure the version of this on C64 had a side-scrolly Kung-fu Master-esque fighting section too. Smiley Along with that shooting gallery sub-game. Smiley
