Bumpy

It's French!

Not heard of this one? It even made it to the Gameboy and had a sequel! 'Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy' ?

Single screen puzzle / platformer/bounce 'em up

Really simple to get into and very playable, puzzle start of easy and get harder.... there is some challenge with them. Played this one lots on the Spectrum and on the ST with the Specci emulator! I hadn't realised there was an ST version! Fix this NOW please! Cheesy

Xenon II

all hail the Bitmap Bros.......

I love a good shooter, I this while graphically polished doesn't cut it for me, just a bit sluggish all the way through.

Perhaps I'll revisit this one, but on the early levels it was easy to get lost amongst the action.

yes woo sampled intro! Don't think this has any STe features bit of a shame as it would probably 'make it'

GFX 80% polished but perhaps too much
music 70% catchy and sampled bits
playability 65% meh!

overall 50% lackluster

Xenon II  - hohum - this is an overrated shooter. Graphics are nice and well drawn, scrolling only lacks sometimes (a fact Xenon I had not) but the confusing action leads to a loss.

The game gets hard later on and requires a weapon strategy to be mastered.

It is ok and surely in the upper half of ST games but shooterwise I personally prefer the prequel or Wings Of Death and Lethal Xcess.

The game has its followers and if you like it, then don't wait and brag but play instead. That's what games are made for!

Rock'n'Roll is the thing - Jerry Lee is the king!
