Nice release  :) but was the source code (the CHUCK.S file inside the rar archive) supposed to be part of it?

Nope, it wasn't :(

But seeing as it was, I'll fully document it and get it put on the Extras page with a breif "How a game gets fixed" write-up. Hows that sound?

Anyway all you code stealing demo construction kit cut and pasters, enjoy a stupidly fast real time text x/y distorter.

OK,

Well, I started doing this, but about 40% through the file I realised a few things:

1:  It's incredibly tedious doing this.
2:  While a few people may be interested in the technical details of fixing things, they probably wont use any of the information to patch anything themselves.
3:  Each title is different, so all it would teach you is how to fix Chuck Rock.
4:  It wouldn't even teach you that because the loader and the actual cracking/fixing are seperate things.
5:  I'm a tad busy and distracted at the moment for other reasons.

So... I guess you have the source code for my loader - enjoy :)

Sooo..... all things said and done, am I the only one that finds Chuck Rock a boring and repetitive game? The first few levels are fun, but I tend to lose interest after that. Plus, the standard attack was always too cumbersome for me, so I almost always resorted to jumping and kicking instead of belly-butting enemies.

Nice work with Frenetic!  Yeah, the game is a dullfest in one-player mode, but like most things it's more fun with two ;)

Well with Car-Vup out of the way, only Warzone and Torvak are worth doing. And maybe Heimdall.
