Hey there.

I just tried to run dbug078 (using Hatari) to play Populous 2; but I can't get past the D-Bug menu. I'm seeing the menu, and hearing the music, and reading the scroller. It says 1) Populus II, 2) Hotshot Chequers, 3) Squareoff.  But I can't launch any of them. Pressing those numbers (or mashing the keyboard) has no effect.

I kind of feel like I must be doing something wrong, because the problem is so obvious;  but all the other disks I've got seem to work fine. Any hints here? Is this menu actually broken?


(By the way, I'm a bit chuffed to see that this site and blog are still active. I like this pocket of the internet.)

After messing around with it for a bit, I found that the disk doesn't work with "EmuTOS" that Hatari uses by default. If I instead use some other tos (eg 1.02) then it seems to work fine.

I find it a bit weird that the dbug menu seems to just ignore keypresses when using EmuTOS, (rather than trying to run the game and failing or whatever) - but I guess that's not very important. It just made it a bit harder for me to guess the problem!
