Title: Outline 2007

I assume from the attendees list that D-Bug were represented at this year's Outline.  What was it like?  Any Atari releases?

Hi James,

Me, Shw and ECG were present at Outline. Now, I've never been to too many computer parties, but I can say that it's the best I've ever been to! Lots of cool people, nice atmosphere, discussions, etc. Words fail to describe how nice it was. All I can say is to see the online galleries and you'll understand (a bit ;)).

Definitely recommended for Atarians! But it's not an Atari-only party: people from other platforms were present and they also had a good time from what they told me.

A KO2 competition was organised by kRaDd/tSCc (I got 2nd place :)).

Now, as for Atari releases, there's been the 2 invitros (st and falcon respectively), plus a few bootsectors fot the compo. Other than that, some tunes were released for the compo. You can probably grab most of them over at DHS. So not many releases, but who the hell cares? We all had a great time there! Havoc told me that he might book the place from next year from now, so I hope he announces the dates soon so we can get extra cheap tickets to there :)

That's all for now... Next year be there or be a lamer :P

Actually, I'd really like to attend a future Outline party - but not sure if I can make 2008.  Is Outline 'lamer' friendly, ie. is it cool for non-sceners to attend just to check out the demos and such?  I can't code or pixel or nought (although I do write/edit a indie-gaming/retro magazine...so some kudos?), but I genuinely love toying with new releases on old hardware and watching demos.  :)

Well, if nothing out of the extraordinary happens I'll be there. There will be a game tournament this year as well, both the kick off 2 tournament and a STOT sponsored ST gaming tournament. No problem with other platforms but we wouldn't be STOT otherwise ;).
Generally you'll find the atari scene very friendly and I hope to see you there.

Yes it is. Last edition allowed pc sceners :>
Seriously, enthusiasts who like to look over the fence are welcome at every Atari party. Just ask Jens (from AF) who travveled with me to last Outline. He is a professional Atari users but he had a lot of fun and got a warm welcome from all Atarians there.
Don't hesitate and join the fun  :)

GGN you lamer!: how dare you!!! What about my release, the ST demo "Black Sheep" which came 5th?!! Still to release this mega blasting demo though.

Heavy: Me and Cal (PHF) go every year. We take the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam then drive to the party place, so if you want a lift give me a shout.

Shw
