Title: Dubmood - tracked msx
Post by Heavy Stylus on 13.04.08 at 20:58:56
Where can I find his tracks to play on a real Atari?  All I can find online are mp3s...

Please help =-)

Edit - Found them.  Now, what do I need to play XM files on an STE?

Octalyser I'd guess, as long as it's <8 channels. Get it here: http://dhs.nu/files_msx_digi.php

Oh - thanks for the link.  I thought I'd be able to use a player rather than load it in a tracker though.  I might as well install maxYMiser then. ;)

Okay, now you confused me. You want to play XM tunes from maxymiser? O_o

Octalyser plays xm (digital module) files (as well as mod etc).
MaxYMiser plays .sndh files.

If you want to play the later (snd), then you can download either gemplay or sndplayer.

I'm new to all this...  Yes - clearly I'll have to use Octalyser!  Sorry - I thought that maxymiser supported XM - whoops!

No worries - I understand now.

Well cheers to that :) Any other app you'd like to know about while we're at it?
