Title: Compare and Contrast

How a patch page should look:
http://www.dbug-automation.co.uk/patch.asp

How a patch page should not look:
http://www.ppest.org/atari/atricl.php

Honestly, what the hell is that? It doesnt even fit on a widescreen monitor without scrolling (It "works not"), and the information in it is pretty badly designed (However, if you've seen the rest of the site, including the main page, you'll see its actually a huge leap forward....)

Either stuff runs when you launch it, or it doesnt - why make people jump through hoops to run a game? Hole? Only one hole on that site.   I am "stucks" to see the point of it.

Also, quite a few ot those "patches" have large chunks of stuff missing, or have such retarded save game options its not funny. Press reset and copy the file from a ramdisk??? Wow, thats clean.

Oooh look, his page doesn't even validate through http://validator.w3.org/ (unlike ours, harhar!). Really, if a guy can't even write decent HTML (which even 12 year olds can at this time and age), what should I make out of his assembly skills?

And whats with the "set the speed yourself" "run it from low res mode" or multiple loader files???

There's a COOKIE JAR you know?  And this thing called XBIOS for setting resolutions... On and not forgetting cache and cpu control registers.  I understand you cant manage animation/music while loading depacking (after all, thats an advanced skillset from 1990.....) but surely you can do a CONOUT with a GETKEY???

Oh, and your stuff dies in MiNT because you trash the PMMU table. Tssk Tssk. Amateurs :P

;-)
