Hi,
I have a problem with this one, the game freezes when i start to play.
In the jail when i click on the torch or try to do something it freezes and i must reboot.
I haven't seen any bug report for this one, i don't understand why i have this problem.

Hi there (and welcome to the forum!),

You didn't provide any info here so I can only suggest general things:

- Disable all auto folder prgs
- Disable all acc/cpx
- Boot in plain GEM (no replacement desktops)

All of the above can be achieved if you hold CTRL while the falcon is booting (for hddriver at least).

If the above doesn't fix the problem then please state:

- Your TOS version
- Your hard disk driver and version
- Your hard disk driver cahce size
- Any accelerator or other add-ons you might have added to your Falcon
- Do you have IDE or SCSI disk?
- Any other you feel you should mention :)

And, as a general note to those that read this: please please PLEASE be more verbose when you report bugs here. Bug reports such as "I have a falcon with 14mb and the game crashes" are almost useless for us, as we test the games on about 5 different Falcons with diferent configurations, 3 MegaSTEs, 2 TTs and various other machines. It works on all machines before we mark something as "releasable", otherwise we state it in the release.

My Falcon uses Tos 4.04, an internal ide 2"1/2 hard disk (~250 mo).
I have NVDI 5, mouse accelerator, etc.... but i start it by pressing "control" to use the basic tos configuration.
The hard disk driver is Hushi, the cd rom driver Metados.
I also have a swith to acclerate the cpu to 32mhz, but i turn it off for standart 16 mhz. And a pc card emulator, but it is in use only when i lauch its software.
It's a german Falcon, and i haven't installed any alternate system.

I will explain what exactly happens, the intro of the game runs fine, but when the game really start in the jail, the first action i try to do locks the game. It stays frozen can't do anything.
Do you have any idea?

This may be a long shot, but Hushi *may* be the culprit.
My Falcon had a very similar configuration until I discovered that Hushi was not working 100% reliably with my internal IDE harddisk.

There's an option in Hushi's config tool though that you could try:
- in SCSITOOL.APP go to the "Treiber" (driver) menu
- select "konfigurieren" (configure)
- click "IDE-Parameter"
- disable the "R/W multiple" option for all your IDE partitions

This made my IDE drive working stable on my Falcon, although there's some speed penalty when this option is off.

In the end, I just dumped Hushi in favour of HD Driver, which works just perfectly with all my drives. :-)

Following on Klaz' idea: You can try downloading the demo version of hddriver and run it from a floppy disk (hushi must be bypassed!). IIRC the demo version allows you to read but not write, so it'll do for our experiment. Try launching the game then. If it works then yes, hushi is the problem.

I tried to boot on my ahdi floppy disk to use another driver, and the game works.
When i played it it didn't freeze again, i hope the problem is solved, hushi seems to be the cause.
