I'm not nearly as lovely as Alison, but I'd better get in and say hi!
"Hi." I do love the work you're doing, the Falcon compatibility rules, the ability to stock up my SatanDisk with loads of hard drive runnable ST/STe classics even more so :) On that latter point, I'm easily pleased with the occasional demo conversions to run from hard disk as well, like the Kruz one done today, so thanks for everything! |

Ta Aly! (Not starting to stalk ya, don't worry!) ::)
On a totally random and unrelated topic, does CJ have any more classic Star Trek avatars in the wings? I think he went well with the Nazi Kirk :P |

I am missing an ATX PSU to get it started. Tomorrow I'll do the necessary case mods.

On the subject of star trek what was it about st users and star trek in the eighties and 90s I remember getting st+ diskzine and seeing all the conributors in full star trek kit :) I miss diskzines :( |

I can claim some insider insights into this one actually. Dave Hollis, the main man in charge of ST+ was a fairly hardcore Trekkie even before his Atari stuff. The amount of replica Starfleet ship models dangling from his kitchen ceiling testified to that. ::) He also ran another diskzine preceding ST+ called 'The Panther Owners Club' which was an Elite/Frontier fanzine so it didn't stop at Star Trek. Slightly later on, he got into the dark side (PeeCee) and the gaming possibilities offered there. :( |
