However, a welcome refreshing downpour of honesty might not have gone amiss back in the day. Who remembers when the likes of ST Floormat and Zero magazine seemed to have "reviews" that were pinned too closely to the nipples of their advertisers, where too honest an appraisal could have been painful in all sorts of ways.
