I bought the following gamepad at the Xzentrix party.

It works in port 0 (mouse port), firebutton B as fire, directions, but it does not work in port 1 (normal joystick). Directions never work there, in some games and programs the firebutton B works.

First of all: what system does this pad belong to? I assumed Megadrive...that's why I bought it. Idiot me only tried in port 0 on my STE
Second: is there a way to make it work on port 1? (Maybe with cutting all lines except GND, directions and fire?)

It's mega drive, 6 button. Perfect for SSF II. Other than that it won't work on the ST joystick port. You need a master system pad for that.

I personally just traded the 6 button one for a 3 button and a Master System pad instead ;)
