Bombuzal
Absolutely love this game! Choose from a 2D or 3D view point and diffuse those bombs whilst using the special squares to your advantage in over 100 levels. Of course its not that simple - the diffusion of bombs is dependant on its size - small bombs blow themselves up only where as medium bombs blow up itself and an extra square to the left and right and above and below. Some bombs can be moved if on tracks whilst you should perhaps avoid on some levels the icy squares or go flying off the grid. Bombuzal has nice graphics that suit the game in both 2D and 3D, although the controls can be too responsive at times causing you to fly off the grid. The puzzle elements are addictive enough to keep you wishing to try and thankfully there are set passwords to help you continue your progress. |

Should also give some mention to Falcon.
Without digging out the manual its hard to get in to but did play this on my ST all those years ago and did enjoy it to a point. But this is not intended as a review, just a special mention to the message from the CEO of Sphere Inc who wrote the following snippet:
Dear Customer, We Would like to thank you for purchasing Falcon. This product has taken over 10 man-years to develop. Your purchase allows us to invest the time and energy to produce high quality simulations. Falcon is protected, however if you are using a copy of this product and enjoy it as much as we do, please go out and buy one or order one directly from us. The manual alone is worth the price. <snip> Gilman G. Louie CEO, Sphere Inc
|
