Many thanks to Jamie Woodhouse and CJ for releasing this game.
I finally got some time to put it on my SatanDisk and play it.

The game is indeed very smooth and even while the scrolling background is only 4 colors (2 bitplanes), it looks very good. It only moves much too fast for me, but I've always been lousy at playing action games. Luckily you have infinite lives.
Although still a prototype, it provides much playing fun and showed lots of potential.

I hope Jamie's other unreleased game "Upwards" will be released too. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

Thanks.

Robert

I've also tried it.
It reminds me goldrunner but with an horizontal scrolling, animation is very smooth.
I hope the same, that others unreleased games will released (like xj220).

Indeed. It also reminds me of Astromeda and the much better Mirax Force on the Atari 8-bit.

On the ST a similar games was Return to Genesis. This was one of the first ST games I got and it impressed me back then. It also has fast silky smooth scrolling although it only uses half the screen for scrolling.
