Folks, can we canvas an opinion - we've got No Second Prize running on ST/STe/MSTe/F030/TT/HD - but the save game doesnt work... should we release it "as is" or sit on it for another year until we can be arsed to get it 100%?

As is, but with the aim of one day returning to the code to fix it.

When you say the save doesn't work, do you mean from HD (and it still works from floppy) or just that it doesn't work at all?

It doesnt work at all, but floppy save could be implemented fairly easily.

Floppy save would be enough to keep peeps happy I reckon for a 100% version.

Doesn't the Dragon Flight release you put out require a floppy for save games too?  I reckon that format is acceptable.  The game is what takes the time to load, hence better on HD, saving and loading from floppy is cool if you ask me.

I've tried the superior version of this too, and that also doesn't have any option of saving when run from HD.

So, if you do manage to create a version that saves to floppy, yours will be the only HD-installable and save-enabled version out there (which is equal to a 100% release if you ask me) Wink
