I just tried the latest Super Sprint patch on my Falcon and it doesn't load beyond the intro. It gvies a white screen and bee mouse cursor for me.

I tried 16Mhz and 8Mhz settings, always clean boot with only HDDriver loaded.

Simon: What tos version your is?

Not work for me on Tos 4.02 and Soundpool 4.04.

(But in Soundpool machine it is mayby because little bit differend sound system and broblem is just soundcode. Because this machine not are so common i understand why no high interesting fix it working to it.)

If your tos is 4.02 we need update some Falcons then.  Tongue

My Falcon TOS is indeed 4.02

I don't even know what Soundpool is so it surely was not involved.

Removing the INTRO.GGN did help and it worked.

Seems it runs on in hatari with 4.02, so that idea's not got me anywhere...

I know that the problem is in the tune, so close to the end of the year (no time atm), I'll release a pack with the intros using different music. (there are still a few games that use that intro and music player)

Trying to found list where read what is changet tos 4.00/4.02 to 4.04. But not found this information anywhere in internet. (Mayby someone else can found it. I need to sleep some hours now because long driving tomorrow.)

Well, what I read so far is anything other than 4.04 is to be considered buggy.

Yesterday ssb sent me a dump of 4.02 from his own machine, and I byte compared it to the one you attached here. On his there are 2 nops added somewhere in the code (I didn't have the curiosity to check!!), so this just proves the above.

If anyone else wants to dump his TOS, just get Bugaboo from here, load it up and type:

Tos 4.02 (Vibravision Falcon). I thing it is normal 4.02.

(I opened Soundpool Falcon and in there is normal Yamaha y3439-F chip. But there is little "graphicscard" and many solders. If someone not are seen this machine inside and wanna see pics, i can send some.)

I disassembled the code around the difference, it's this:
