The last trooper

Assume the role of the last trooper! Shoot lots of people for apparently no reason other than doing their jobs (and getting in your way!).

It's a pseudo isometric 3D run-around-and-shoot-with-some-searching game. What it boils down is that you need to travel around the level and collect items that will help you progress (for example in the first level you have to find 4 wire cutters to cut the barb wire in order to open up the rest of the level). Lots of randomly spawned enemies might come at you or even fire at you, which costs you from little (if you get shot) to all of your energy (if they touch you). This randomness makes the game unnecessarily hard, a bit of AI might have been better as you can't really predict where the enemy will head for.

The framerate's really not bad (I would have expected much worse TBH) with the graphics being "ok". Sound's the standard blippity-bloppity the YM is famous for producing, so nothing outstanding either. Nice game, would have been really cool with less randomness.

Road Blasters is another arcade game conversion.

The player drives a red car along a road and is constantly shooting at other cars and gun turrets on the side of the road. Constantly collection of fuel pods is required. Some extra guns may be collected as well and that'S it more or less.

Graphics are ok. Although Fire and Forget looks better, this game has a much more decent framerate and is actually playable.

Sound and musics are YM average.

I personally like this game somewhat as it it is not too hard to play.
