Action Fighter is a game I always liked. The game is a straight shooter, starting with a cool Major Motion like road sequence.

The players starts riding a motorcycle but will upgrade to a car and a fighter plane later. Avoid the other bikes and cars, shoot them and don't crash. At times a special truck appears to deliver extra weaponry to the player as well as some extra letters to collect.

Graphics are colorful with detailed sprites, the framerate is decent and stable. Sound effects and music and not worth mentioning. This also implies they are not annoying or so.

If you like Major Motion, this one is a good pick. I actually prefer Action Fighter over Major Motion.

Action fighter

Hooray, one of the few Sega conversions that doesn't actually suck!

There's not much to say about it, apart from being a vertical racing game with shoot'em'up elements and powerups (just head for the Sega truck when you see it, and like KITT you'll be upgraded!). There's plenty of variety in the levels and lots of branches in the road (so you need to keep looking at the traffic signs on top of the screen). The graphics and sound are pleasant and the game runs fast enough to be enjoyable.

A game that's perfect if you're looking for a quick blaster but have got tired of the usual ones Smiley.
