Mr Heli is a scrolling shooter game with comic style graphics. The player controls a man/helicopter hybrid called Mr. Heli and flies around scrolling levels.

Mr Heli can shoot baddies and wall tiles. Wall tiles sometimes emit blue crystals acting as cash which the player can use at weapon boxes to spend for weapon upgrades.

Graphics are colorful and detailed, scrolling and animation is a bit on the slow side, the game manages roughly only 3 VBLs. Scrolling goes into all 4 major directions during the game progress and not only to the left as in the game beginning.

Sound effects are YM styled ok but not brainblasting, the music is pretty annoying after awhile. (Is there a key to disbale the music?)

Controls are ok and just suffer a bit from the framerate. Hold the firebutton longer to throw bombs while walking to blast ground tiles.

All in all a slightly above average game. I personally like it.

Maybe a candidate for a 16Mhz Falcon boost?  Grin
