What menu/cd has the most games on it?

Thanks to UPX, I've got dozens of games on my HD that are around the 30KB mark (or less).  An 800KB floppy could hold about 26x 30KB games, and this got me thinking... Does anyone know what menu has the most games on it?  Is there a record?  I know the early automation disks had quite a lot on, but I've never seen an ST disk with more than 20 games...

If we are talking 'all menus' then I'd think some of the PD menus by people like Pure Energy or Adrenalin. If it's commercial then yes, I'd def. go for early WNW (who is this guy?!!?) / LSD menus.

Demon/CNC did some game menus with quite a few games per menu but he often removed the intros so this doesn't really count.

If anyone would be willing/charitable to code me a *very* basic menu (nice 8x8 or smaller font against a black screen, menu list, scroller, music - no fancy effects/rasters/bobs/etc.) then I'd like to see how many games I can fit on a floppy disk, using 100% of the space (if possible)...

PM me if you're interested in working on this silly little project Smiley

Pompey Pirits Krappy Kompact #1 should be a contender with 11 games on it...  Wink

I was thinking of at least 26... selectable by a-z, maybe even 1-0 as well if it was possible to squeeze another 10 on! Cheesy

Mug UK did a simple bootsector menu for his Regression Therapy menus. The source is available (if not I have it somewhere).

I'd probably agree using this as a starter point...  I too have the code *somewhere* and from what I recall it was pretty easy to add to etc without causing to many problems.

I think CJ may have coded something similar for some Automation or BBC menu?  But my mind could well be playing tricks on me there...
