#2 - Mr. Grz, you have no clue what talking about. How many adaptations you did? How you know anything about all it?"

more coming your way, as and when! Smiley

You forgot to circle the bit about no games on the DBug Menus being worth the effort - when DBug Automation have cracked all the games that he's adapted!  WTF?

ok his latest spat

"Automation is not equal to D-Bug."

did I ever say Automation = D-Bug ? I said Was(Not Was) was in D-Bug.

As for the D-Bug = Automation debate, let's put it this way

The top 4 crackers in Automation (by quantity) are surely :-

Was (not) Was aka Vapour
The Law aka Disaster Zone
Ozzwald
Neil of Cor Blimey

WNW aka Vapour EQUALS Hot-Knife
The Law EQUALS Cyrano
Neil EQUALS Neil

ppera can you understand this advanced form of algebra ?

How strange that 3 of these 4 are also in D-Bug and did cracks for D-Bug.  Automation stops, one week later D-Bug starts.. spooky.... The last few Automation menus are redone as the games appear on D-Bug menus... even spookier!

In my opinion (and I was never in Automation) I'd say D-Bug was formed to get rid of the hangers on and go back to the original members whose cracks were quality (not chunky lumpy pap)... for all intents and purposes any scener knows that D-Bug is Automation.

I like how he never admits his short comings though.

Shw

Well, seeing the quality of the last Automation menus, I'd say it's good that it stopped there.

Also, to continue with the spooky events, isn't strange that the quality dropped when the law and vapour stopped being so active?

ooooh, there's more fun to be had Smiley

Dear moderator. If you want avoid discussions like in this thread, please delete all posts what are from D-Bug and it's supporters + replies on. It is obvious that they will write only negative about mine SW, adaptations and will not miss in meantime to praise own 'releases'.

Because, like, his views are the only ones anyone, anywhere should be allowed to read.  When we see something positive from him, we'll be sure to point it out, it just hasn't happened yet - and people don't seem brave enough to run his crapware...

Automation is not equal to D-Bug.

I think Shw answered that one quite nicely.

Hole allows lot of games to run without any patching - so must be bad  Usage is absolute easy for everyone who knows to read. It is part of new hard disk driver.

So why is he calling them "adaptions" that "he did" when he did nothing to them except make them difficult to run. It may be part of his new disk driver, but 99% of the population use HDDriver, so thats bloody useless, isnt it?

Only 1 game of 3 mentioned works just with Hole. Mickey Zoo had still protection (version in GameBase ST), so I removed it.
Tai-Pan needed new launcher. That's are facts dear spitters (never said talentless ones).

Really? Gosh, that's so interesting. I'm sure there's no unprotected version of Mickey Zoo, and we all know GameBase is the ultimate source of Atari software so it must be true.

I do not releases. There is no mine name in intros. If someone want to see what is done by myself let read 'ChangesMade.txt'. I do adaptations for my own use and fun. If someone find them useful, so better.

I wouldn't put my name on them either if I'd done them, it's too embarassing.

If you don't like them or myself open new thread and write everything what want. But before it would be good to check some facts. So will not repeat comments like that about floppy rpm measuring prg. Or comments about using 'D-Bug' crack of OIDS, what exists not at all. Thank you.

I refer him to the great poster GGN made.....

and then we have...

Magic Boy is game from Falcon period. I did not patched it at all for Falcon. Why it has no sound with, I don't care.
As I stated it already couple times - Falcon patching is not my concern. And you know that I never wrote that D-Bug is talentless. You have some other problems.

He doesn't care when people point out issues with his software. "It works not for you. It works for me" is his standard reply. If Falcon patching is not his concern, why does he constantly bitch about us doing it, and why does he even attempt it himself?

The only problems we have are patching the games he's done to do them properly.

You know how I translate this? "I'm ignorant and know not how Falcon works, so I'll just say I don't care" (which explains why he doesn't support the Falcon in general). Which fits with his general behaviour: when he wants to get out of a difficult situation he either says he doesn't care and/or declares every fact as "nonsense".

Either way, well done!

What do you mean "looking forward to" - your on the playtesting team, and some of the things he's buggered up are dreadful!

What's odd is that he "released" some of his botch job abominations after we'd released the D-Bug versions.

What's his point? "Look at me! I can do it worse!" ?

If his line of defence is "I do it for my own fun, if others like it then ok" then he should keep those abominations for himself. Or release them without any fanfare or posting on other forums.

However, D-Bug always aims for a broader audience. We value our hard disks as much as everyone else. With his wording it seems that he doesn't. Nor he reacts kindly to negative feedback.

Hehe - this is very true - he has botched some truly awful games.  And he moaned and moaned about your joke releases - but what has he done?  TNT Combat Mission anyone?  No thanks.  Magic Boy is actually alright though... not that I'm going to try his patch after my "Bomb Jack killed my zip disc" incident.

\o/ at "Look at me!  I can do it worse!"  Cheesy

And to be fair to you guys, unlike him you DON'T post about every DBug release on other forums (well, not Atari-Forum anyway)...

Are his patched games *really* that bad? I guess if he's writing whole hard disk drivers there is some risk of corruption there, but honestly, I think there is bigotry here that's kind of the same as what annoys you about ppera.
Anyyway, it's your place I guess.

On a completely different subject, I think the guy uses translation websites, and amusingly I have recreated the tone of ppera by writing some sentiments in English and translating them to French and back with google:
"HOLD is all what Atari user needs. It is not wreck partitions, and no need of your schoolboy patching and cracks.
Glanders is run from your nose, childish idiots."

Yes, they are.

Most of them have chunks missing (F1 for example missing the entire intro!) or his latest one having no audio.

Then there's the Elite fiasco where you can only save and call yourself 'S' and you have to copy your file from a ramdisk on exit...

We've had reports from people who have had their partitions trashed running some of his patches, although I doubt he'll ever believe us.

Also, most of his "patches" involve buggering up your AUTO folder sequence... yes you could use his driver, but really who would trust that? Especially to run a game that is probably half missing.

Lemmings 2: The Tribes

A puzzle game, with hundreds of levels, that you have no hope in hell of completing in one sitting.... with SAVE disabled.

And you ask if they are that bad?

(And before you bring up No Second Prize... the one on *my* HD saves quite nicely thank you hehehe)

Some people won't learn I guess.....

http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=136399

Adaptations are 'as is'

So don't complain if they wipe your disks!

Nobody except buggers complained about them.

Maybe because we were the only ones bothered to test them? Smiley

If you encounter some problems drop me a mail or PM.

And he will most probably diss you!

with some details about system.

Or don't bother, they only work in his.

It there stays that works not on Falcon or that has errors I will not bother with it.

He still can't patch for the Falcon. Don't worry, HOPE springs eternal!

There is still a lot of STs operational.

That is, unless you send them to ppera. Then they become zombies Tongue
